Welcome to Woodford Karate Club, Hull
We are a friendly Wado karate club based in Hull that welcomes people of all ages* and abilities.
Whether you are an absolute beginner or an experienced black belt moving into the Hull area, returning to karate or changing styles we have highly-skilled instructors ready to help with your training.
Students have many reasons for doing karate - to keep fit and supple, to learn self-defence, to study the art or to become competitive athletes. We can offer support and encouragement whatever your goals. For those seeking to compete we offer a direct path to selections for the Wado-UK squad to compete nationally, and then selections for the English Karate Federation to represent your country internationally.
Our instructors are fully qualified, licensed, insured, enhanced CRB checked and first aid trained. The club is owned and managed by Mr John Moreton 7th Dan who is a director of the English Karate Federation, the World Karate Federation NGB for karate in England.
* Please note the minimum age to train is 7 years old.
